Where a topic is covered by one of those policies specifically, that policy governs; these terms cover everything else about using the site itself.

Who operates this site. Chirantan is published by Authorspress, New Delhi, with Digital EFX as technical operator. The platform (its software, design and branding, distinct from the scholarly content it publishes) is Digital EFX's and Authorspress's property.

Accounts. You must provide accurate information when registering, keep your credentials confidential, and notify the editorial office promptly of any suspected unauthorised use. One account per person - do not register on behalf of someone else or under a name that is not your own.

Acceptable use. Do not attempt to disrupt or gain unauthorised access to any part of the platform, submit content you do not have the rights to submit, impersonate another person, or use automated tools to bulk-harvest the site beyond normal reading and citation.

Submissions and intellectual property. A manuscript remains the author's own property throughout review; on publication, copyright and licensing are governed by the Open Access and Licensing policy, not by these terms.

The platform "as is." We work to keep the site available and reliable but do not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free access. To the extent permitted by law, Digital EFX and Authorspress are not liable for indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of the site; nothing here limits the obligations set out in the Refund and Cancellation policy for a paid Article Processing Charge.

Changes to these terms. We may update these terms as the platform evolves; the effective date below reflects the current version, and continued use after a change means you accept it.

Termination. We may suspend or terminate access for a genuine breach of these terms, such as the acceptable-use violations above.

Governing law. These terms are governed by the laws of India, with Madhya Pradesh (Digital EFX's registered state) as the venue for any dispute not otherwise resolved through the editorial-appeals or complaints process.
