N. Susheela

Biography

Dr. N. Susheela is currently working as Professor, Head and Chairperson, Board of Studies (BoS), Department of Comparative Dravidian Literature and Philosophy (CDLP), Dravidian University, Kuppam, Andhra Pradesh. She has been teaching Kannada to P.G. students at Dravidian University for more than 23 years. She has published 05 Books and 45 research articles in National and International journals and presented papers in various seminars. She has guided 03 Ph.D. scholars and 01 M.Phil. student. She has successfully completed 04 UGC projects - 01 Major Project and 03 Minor Projects. She has served as Coordinator, Women's Cell and is a member of many Committees of the University. She has also served as a member of various Academic Advisory Committees. Served as Executive Council Member, Dravidian University and as Syndicate Member, Bangalore University (2019 to 2022). Served as Registrar (I/c) and Finance Officer (I/c), Dravidian University (2019 - 2021). Served as Dean, School of Comparative Dravidian Literature and Translation Studies from 2018 to 2022. BoS Member in various other Universities such as University of Mysore and Tumkur University. Organized 05 National Seminars at Dravidian University. Served as N.S.S. Programme Officer and Coordinator for more than 10 years and conducted many extension activities. Translated books from Kannada to Telugu.
