Venkata Chary Sri Ramoju

Biography

Dr. Venkata Chary Sri Ramoju is a scholar-practitioner with a Ph.D. in Business Administration (Employee Engagement and Organisational Behaviour) and an MBA in HRM & Marketing, bringing over 33 years of combined industry and academic experience. He currently serves as a Business Studies Teacher at Huravee School, Maldives, and as Visiting Professor of OB & HRM at Visvesvaraya College of Engineering & Technology (VCET), Hyderabad, where he previously served as Professor and Department Head for MBA and English. His research spans employee engagement, HR analytics, talent management, and AI applications in HRM, with 17+ publications across UGC-recognised journals, Scopus-indexed journals, and conference proceedings, including a Scopus Q1 paper in Scientific Reports (2026). He is currently pursuing a Post-Doctoral Fellowship in AI with HRM at SR University, India. Prior to his academic career, he spent over two decades in workforce leadership and training delivery with Indian Railways, most recently as Chief Loco Inspector and Chief Crew Controller for South-Central Railway, directing executive education and HR operations for a 2,000+ member safety-critical workforce.
