Postcolonial feminism deals with how the women of the coloni sed countries are dealt with after decoloni sation. In the present paper, I have tried looking at two works – J.M.Coetzee’s ‘Disgrace’ and Saadat Hasan Manto ’s ‘Khol Du’ from postcolonial feminist point of view. The lives of both the women characters – Lucy and Sakina face similar torments because of their identity being attach ed to two very volatile terms, one being postcolonial and the other being woman. This association in itself acts as a catalyst to their tormented life and agonised psyche
